Will 5mg of Paxil have an effect on my sex drive?

I’m a 18 year old male and have generalized anxiety. I’ve been prescribed 5mg Paxil and was wondering if it would have an impact on my sex drive since it’s a low dose. I already feel like my anxiety has an effect on my sex drive, so maybe it wouldn’t really make a difference?

   Sexual side effects from SSRI medications varies from person to person. 5mg is a low dose, but the only way to be sure is to try it. From what I have heard it isn’t the ‘drive’ that is impacted as much as ‘performance’ issues are. But anxiety can have impact there as well. Best to get the anxiety under control and then work on the performance issues if there are any.
