Vasectomy vs. female birth control?
Thursday, November 18th, 2010I am in a tough spot everybody…I been in a relationship for 7 mths with my boyfriend he been on my butt about using birth control pills I’m not too keen on the idea because im extremely scared of the side effects being I’m already anemic and have problems with tightness and leg swelling as it is…he gave me a choice ..he like if i don’t do it he will get a Vasectomy which sounds ok…I heard its reversable but there is no guareentee that it can be reversed all the time…and so far i seen this man as my future and being with him for the long haul…he already got 2 toddler kids from a previous relationship and doesn’t want anymore kids till he is mentally capable of wanting kids and living more comfortable as far as his career goes…me im not ready to have kids not sure if i want any but down the line i would like the option to have them if im ready too…i love him but im scared the procedure won’t reverse..do u think his choice is a right one? help!

We are wondering if a vasectomy increases chance for prostate cancer, urinary problems etc. This ques is being asked in relation to the Endocrine system etc…Kind of like when a woman has a hystorectomy early in life and it effects her hormal levels extremly. Male Menopause is something new that they are learning more about due to Hormonal levels being altered. We are not worried about the procedure.
