im haertbroken. today i overheard my parents talking about my dad, who got diagnosed with prostate cancer. hes 70. im only 14 but anyways im really sad and i hope this all isnt true. we have a very low income as well (40K ish?) but luckily my brother got a full scholarship this year to stanford. im really sad and i heard my mom talking to my dad about how he has to get surgery because in our family, health comes before money. but isnt surgery like $20,000? thats half our income! so im really concerned and im about to cry

I’m extremely scared of the doctor and extremely weirded out by people wanting to touch me that aren’t my husband. We have been having sex since I was fifteen (I’m now 20) and I’ve never gotten preggers but we have always been so careful and used a condom and he never usually never c*ms inside of me, but we have started having no condom sex and just pulling out but I know this could fail and neither one of us want children so we have to be careful. But I know its time and I’m horrified. What exactly do they look at before they put you on birth control?

When used right, withdrawal is actually about 94% effective. It is a myth that the precum contains sperm. The only way it ever could is if a man doesn’t urinate before having sex again. (This cleans out any leftover semen from the last ejaculation).

The only thing is a man has to be very experienced and make sure to withdraw in time. That is why this method shouldnt be for teenagers who are usually unexperienced.

So why isnt this taught as a viable contraception method then? Many countries in Asia and the Middle East use this as their main method and their birth rate has stayed the same as those using more “professional” methods of birth control.

I think it has to do with the drug companies who want you to buy their birth control so they will make money. The pill sucks anyways. It takes away your sex drive and makes you gain weight. Why is this method so taboo when it really is a viable method when used correctly then?
You are all wrong, LOOK up the facts. There have only been TWO studies done to try and find sperm in pre cum. One found no sperm, the other found sperm but they were not moving anymore, they were “dead”.

I went to the gynocologists for the first time two weeks ago. She took a sample to do tests on and told me I could get the results in two weeks online. I went to the website and it says that I am negative for chlamydia and ghonerhea. Did she only do tests for two stds? And if so, where can I go to get all of them (like HIV, syphilis, herpes etc) done?

Do you think people that are STD positive be branded to show they have a STD? Not necessarily telling which they have, but warning future partners or current ones that they have a STD since so many people have STDs and choose not to tell. This is one reason why STDs are so common not only in America, but the world.
