I’m 17 and have a REALLY LOW SEX DRIVE. I’m “straight” but I just…don’t get excited (around either sex).

HOW DO YOU MEASURE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS, and if you ever had a low sex drive, did testosterone therapy help? Or what?

THANKS!!
PS – I USED TO get excited around girls…maybe it’s more psychological…?

I have high estrogen, and low testosterone…. and oh Im a Guy!?

Wednesday, September 15th, 2010

I think I have abundant supply of estrogen in my body… and oh, Im a guy. help please?
Im 16 years old, 5’4, 108+ lbs.

Im a guy, metrosexual, elegant, dashing, noble, slender… slim etc..
No Armpit hair, no facial hair, no bulk bicep muscles..
Im feminine, artistic, perfectionist, loves to carry paper bags, loves shopping, etc…

Im not gay, I fall in love with girls.

and I really blame estrogen for my height.
Estrogen decelerates height growth, its a fact. and thats why Im 5’4 while 16 yrs old.

And I think I have low testosterone.

thats the problem, I think I have high estrogen found in my body,

“Information:
Testosterone:
Pubertal
Pubertal effects begin to occur when androgen has been higher than normal adult female levels for months or years. In males, these are usual late pubertal effects, and occur in women after prolonged periods of heightened levels of free testosterone in the blood.
Enlargement of sebaceous glands. This might cause acne.
Phallic enlargement or clitoromegaly
Increased libido and frequency of erection or clitoral engorgement
Pubic hair extends to thighs and up toward umbilicus
Facial hair (sideburns, beard, moustache)
Loss of scalp hair (Androgenetic alopecia)
Chest hair, periareolar hair, perianal hair
Leg hair
Axillary hair
Subcutaneous fat in face decreases
Increased muscle strength and mass[11]
Deepening of voice
Increase in height
Growth of the Adam’s apple
Growth of spermatogenic tissue in testicles, male fertility
Growth of jaw, brow, chin, nose, and remodeling of facial bone contours
Shoulders become broader and rib cage expands
Completion of bone maturation and termination of growth. This occurs indirectly via estradiol metabolites and hence more gradually in men than women.

Estrogen :

promote formation of female secondary sex characteristics
decelerate height growth[11]
accelerate metabolism (burn fat)
reduce muscle mass
stimulate endometrial growth
increase uterine growth
increase vaginal lubrication
thicken the vaginal wall
maintenance of vessel and skin
reduce bone resorption, increase bone formation
morphic change (endomorphic -> mesomorphic -> ectomorphic)

the only one thing that supports I have testosterone, is the deepening of my voice.
and thats all, but the things that support I have high levels of estrogen, cannot be counted.
well f ck you roger.

I am looking for a natural treatment to decrease Testosterone levels for prostate cancer.?

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

My father has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Because of his age, he is not a candidate for surgery. So his local Dr has started him on hormone therapy to decrease the levels of testosterone. He gave him a hormone shot to be repeated every 4 months, plus ordered a prescription which will costs over $500.00 per month. My father does not have prescription coverage with Medicare, only the VA covers medicine, but only if he sees a VA doctor, which is very far away. He, of course, is on a fixed income so he cannot afford $500 per month. We are making an appointment to go to the VA. In the meantime, does anyone know of any all natural supplement or treatment that can assist in the lowering of testosterone levels? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Is increased testosterone the reason for Male baldness and if so dose that make them more fertile?

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

I have a bf who is losing his hair at the young age of 24 what I was wondering is, if this is caused by increased testosterone levels and if it is then will this increase his fertility. Its my understanding that testosterone is the hormone that makes a mans voice deep, increases muscle mass and is partly responsible for a males dominant behavior. He doesn’t fit that description all that well, he has little muscle and hasn’t got a very deep voice, he also doesn’t display as much dominant behavior as most males I know. I am not referring to aggression. How can his Testosterone levels be higher than the norm if those things are not present? BTW I am not at all looking for a cure, I like him regardless of his packaging :D lol. I am curious and I know some men can be self conscience of balding so I never want to bring it up with him in case he mistakes my curiosity for something else.
