I’m a 21 yr old male. I think I have high testosterone for a few reasons. 1) I work out (weights) hour and half a day, then 2) run 3-5 miles without tiring and I then still have a crazy sex drive at all times of the day. 3-5 times is a normal day for me if you know what I mean. What I’m wondering is there any side effects that come a long with a high testosterone level? Its easily noticeable that it’s very easy for me to gain muscle size with ease compared to my peers. Does high testosterone affect moods at all?

I’m basically just looking for something to boost the libido and get me in the mood more often. I’m a 26 y/o male that finds his wife very attractive but just has a low sex drive…always have. I hear commercials and stuff on the radio…but what actually works, if anything?

I’m really wondering if the condition causes some sort of change in the body chemistry for males, especially in terms of sex drive or testosterone levels. I had gynecomastia when I was a child, but had plastic surgery to cover it, and I notice that many males at my age simply had more competitive drive and anger issues than I ever did.

Of course, it could be upbringing as well, but this idea just piqued my curiosity.

I am a 16 year old male and I am about to go on accutane for the first time. I have read from blogs that after taking accutane they claim that their testosterone level decreased. Having lowered testosterone leads to a lowered sex drive and possible future male problems. Is this claim true? If it is does the testosterone naturally come back? If you are a male taking or has completed accutane can you please share your experience with the drug and the exp afterwards.

I had blood tests run after a month of using androgel and my level was 219. I was told that this is normal. I am still have serious sex drive problems. Should I visit another doctor?

my free testosterone was at 1.1 so wouldn’t that combined with the other number be pretty low for someone my age.

well, 2001-2003 the endocrinologist was giving me 600-700 mg every 2-3 weeks, then he left the country and then my regular doctor took over the role and has been giving me 400mg every 2-3 weeks. However last month the day before a shot (2+ weeks since a shot) my total T level was 56, when normal is 280-800. So, when my urologist says my Depo T therapy has caused infertility…..and then another doctor said “stop the Depo T” for 6 months and test again, they seem to contradict each other. If I stop the shots my T level will head to zero. If it is 56 (2.9) weeks after a shot, no telling what it will be if I go without depo for 6 months as advised.
None of these doctors ever said the risk of low T is fertility problems. Now the urologist says the Depo has caused the problem.

I was diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism two years ago. I am in my forty’s and have been injecting Testosterone Cypionate at 200mg weekly since being diagnosed. My pre-therapy testosterone level was 144 ng/dl, with therapy I average 600 ng/dl. Would a man in my situation remain fertile with the TRT regiment described?
