My periods and birth control~ Girls only~ You silly men dont know what I am talking about~?

I need some advise on some good birth control that will help regulate my periods~ I thought about the IUD… The shot is out and I want to maybe try the pill that shortens my periods… I have really heavy bleeding… I hate it go for 7 days… Help please
