I think I have PMDD. What are some ways to combat this other than birth control?

Monday, April 25th, 2011

Hi, For years, I have had the worst menstrual cycles known to man! Extremely heavy bloodloss, to the point I have to change my tampon every 30 minutes and I also have to wear a tampon and a pad. Also, the cramps are surreal and I usually have to take a 800mg Ibuprofen just to deal with the agonizing pain. It’s hard to sleep through the night because of the blood loss and I can barely go to work on days when I have my period. But worst of all, I have killer PMS in the days leading up to it. Extreme bloating. Rage, to the point where I want to hurt someone or something and have to stop myself. Extreme moodiness and tears for no reason. Panic attacks for no reason. Insomnia. I’m always hungry. Extreme fatigue. Intense migraines. This is what I’m going through right now. Because the symptoms are so extreme, I used to think I was pregnant, but PMDD just makes more sense. How do I combat this? I tried birth control but even low-dose was too strong. And I bled a lot and I have moderate to severe anemia (more than likely due to heavy blood loss and not getting enough iron). I really need an alternative way of dealing with this. Please help!

Is it possible to have an STD or some sort while still being a virgin?

What I’m trying to ask is, if I have sex with a woman who IS a virgin and tells the truth, can she still have an STD, regardless of her abstinence?

What are some signs of an anxiety disorder?

Friday, April 22nd, 2011

My fiance worries constantly about his health. Every day when I am at school, he researches different things he feels and what they could be a sign of. He insists there must be something urgent wrong with him, and complains about being able to feel his heart beat, his blood pressure going up and down,…anything he feels he will immediately look it up and find that all of his symptoms are linked to all these different terrible things. He has been convinced that he has prostate issues, cancer, this, that-he always has a new thing that could be wrong with him. I am very worried about him and I think his only actual problem is that he is struggling with extreme anxiety. He recently went to the eye doctor and they found that he may have glaucoma, and this has sent him on a HUGE worry frenzy. He is going to find out within the next week or two whether he actually does have it and what they can do about it…but I am not sure any of the symptoms he feels normally even have to do with glaucoma..

Does this sound like a typical anxiety disorder? and if so, what could treat it? (I do not think he should take benzos..but if that is the only thing available,…)

When the FDA or whatever authority says some additive or drug is “OK,” is it based on “Acceptable Toxicity”?

Friday, April 1st, 2011

It just occurred to me this morning, seeing someone made my co-workers and me a present of some tinned tomato puree- some of which was surely expired, because the tin was bulging, it occured to me to think about how tinned food is not good for Human consumption, or any creature’s consumption.

I cognited that when these so-called “Health Authorities” say that tin (an element used to coat steel cans), aluminium (another element that gets into the body from pots, pans, cutlery, etc.), mercury (a toxic element used in old tooth-fillings amalgams) and diverse chemicals that come from God knows where, saccharin, aspartame, monosdium glutamate, and so on are “harmless,” and “tolerable,” is this assessment not based on the idea that IT IS “HARMLESS,” and IT IS “HARMLESS” and “TOLERABLE” for SAY, 1 in 5 men to come down with prostate cancer, and for a high proportion of the public to be SICK and ILL, and REQUIRE MEDICATION at any given time- swelling the coffers of medicine & pharmacology?

What are some STD testing places in NYC with same-day results?

Monday, March 14th, 2011

I don’t have any symptoms of an STD but I like to get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea every 2 months just to be sure…I know I’m kind of nutty. Anyway I live in NYC but I’ll be so nervous if I get tested that for sure, I’ll need to know that day. Planned Parenthood doesn’t do this, I don’t think. Can anyone find a place for me?

Breast Enlargement Idea ~I’d like some feedback~?

Saturday, March 12th, 2011

PLEASE READ, THIS IS VERY BENEFICIAL. I’ve spent hours upon hours reading different ways to increase breast size.
The pills are worth hundreds of dollars, with only a slight chance of working, why would you do that? Also with breast enhancement pills, there are other ingredients in those pills the manufacture isn’t making completely known, only after doing research on different pills have I found out what is in them. Some have little bits of harmful ingredients while others are completely filled. Some are made all natural, but still have that little hint of danger, and still, are all expensive.
Breast Augmentation is something completely different. Costing a range anywhere from $5000-$10,000. Going under the knife, leaves scars and sometimes unevenness. Would you really waste $8000 on lopsided breasts? Good idea for some, not so for others. Either not having the money, or the dangers involved. They do say breast augmentation has gotten safer over the years, but still, there is ALWAYS a danger with any type of surgery.
Between the pill and the surgery, I’ve considered one, then the other, then back to one. I’m unhappy with the size of my breasts, and I always have. I can easily have the money for surgery, but don’t want the scars, I’m not wasting money on pills that can damage my health and have no affect on my bust.
So, sitting and reading on what affects breast and their growth, I’ve read a few good things.
-Estrogen is a hormone that comprises a group of compounds, including Astron, Estrada and Estrella. It is the main sex hormone in women and is essential to the menstrual cycle. Although estrogen exists in men as well as women, it is found in higher amounts in women, especially those capable of reproducing. Anyways, when you’re pregnant your estrogen levels rise, and well, your breast are noticeably larger. After reading and confirming, estrogen is the main hormone connected with breast growth. If you want larger breasts, here’s what you can do:
Start eating different foods that have a higher level of estrogen. Apples, Cherries, Grapes, Tomatoes, and Pomegranates all have a good amount of estrogen. Apples especially. Alfalfa has high traces of phytoestrogens which is called dietary estrogens. Which means it acts like estrogen. Soy is also very high in estrogen, but a warning, soy extracts are BAD for you. If you are going to eat soy, cook your own soy, no soy extracts. Protein laden foods such as: fresh milk, fish, soy products, nuts and seafood, are also said to increase bust. Very last, flaxseed oil! Flaxseed oil is high in fatty acids and omega 3, 6+9. Very good to take for breast enhancement. And if in the end you don’t see you bust grow, flaxseed oil capsules also:
Lower cholesterol, protect against heart disease and control high blood pressure, Counter inflammation associated with gout, lupus and fibrocystic breasts, Control constipation, haemorrhoids, diverticular disorders and gallstones, Treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn and rosacea, Promote healthy hair and nails, Minimise nerve damage that causes numbness and tingling as well as other disorders, Reduce cancer risk and guard against the effects of ageing, Treat menopausal symptoms, menstrual cramps, female infertility and endometriosis, Fight prostate problems, male infertility and impotence.
All the food I’ve listed are healthy, and are not harmful to your health. Also, if you plan to change your diet, as with any diet do not do it in an extreme way. Slowly work the different foods into your already existing diet, this is best for you and your body.
