SI have been on Alesse 28 for the entire set of pink pills and I am going to be starting the white pills tomorrow. I KNOW HOW TO TAKE THE PILLS AND WHEN TO START THEM (I have been on them before). The question I have is … Both a question and an explination. When I went and got my prescription of Alesse 28 after not being on it for 5 years due to not being sexually active and not really being able to afford it, I was on day 12 of my cycle and my mother (I’m turning 23 fyi) made me take the birth control pill when I was on day 12 of my cycle, because I have a boyfriend and I love him and we have been sexually active (no I’m not pregnant I got a test done @ the doctors office). I wanted to wait until the first day of my period to take the first pill but my mother threatened to kick me out if I didn’t take the first pill right away. So I took the first pill on day 12 of my cycle. My mothers heart is in the right place because there is not way in hell anyone in my family or his could afford a baby right now. She just didn’t want to see me hurt. What I am wondering is if I should wait another whole pack of pills to have condomless sex? I really need advice. I’m 18 and i’ve taken birth control for about 2 years. I’ve tried a couple different brands and I found one that I really like, Ortho Cyclen. I started taking Ortho Cyclen again three months ago and I took the pills continuously so that I didnt have a period for about three months. Last weekend I started having really bad cramps and when I spoke to the clinician at planned parenthood, she suggested I let myself have a period. So on Sunday I didnt take any pills and got my period the next day. I noticed from Sunday up until today (Friday) i’ve been having symptoms of what I call depression. Constant crying over nothing, loss of appetite, racing thoughts, guilt.

The worst part is the racing thoughts over my boyfriend. We’ve been together for about 7 months and the relationship has been wonderful. He hasnt done a single thing wrong to me but all of a sudden I was having un-normal thoughts of questiong my love for him. Is this normal?? I love him but i couldnt figure out if I want to be with him. I didnt feel like this last week and it came out of nowhere. Yesterday I felt perfectly fine..and “balanced” but today I feel down still. I dont want to end it with him because I know he’s the man for me.
