why prostate cancer is more prevalent in blacks than whites?

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

I have found that prostate cancer is predominate in blacks not because of their skin color, but relative to the physical wrok done as slaves. Most balcks are natural built with more muscle mass than whites and the prostate cancer rate can be traced to the deterioration of muscle mass over a period of time. Other factors include weight gain and the increase of the human life span with respect to sexuality. There is a relationship between sexual aggression and the loss of muscle mass and prostate cancer this also is demonstrated with people have sexual impotency problem having a low prostate cancer rate. Also people using steriods will have a high prostate cancer rate because of the relative decrease in muscle mass.

I need to pee like every hour and its more often than normal.?

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011

I know this isn’t really a womans health thing as I am a man, but tend to be up on health issues, so I felt it wouldn’t hurt to ask,

I am only 25 years old, so I don’t really think it could be a prostate problem, or for that matter even a over active bladder problem.
So I am thinking maybe a Urinary Tract Infection, or some sort of diabetes.
Are there any kind of home tests you can buy to tell?
Is there anything else it could be?
I don’t really have health insurance, so I am trying to figure out if this is serious enough to call a doctor.

Thanks in advance for your answers.
guess I should add some more med history to this,
There is no history of diabetes in the family, I am 5’11″ at 185lbs, so overweight yes but only mildly.
There is a mild burning sensation that accompanies the pee, and seems to last a little bit after going to the bathroom.
I do have high blood pressure, but its not extremely high, and the doctor felt it was because I don’t like doctors.

Otherwise I have never been sick.

I am fairly active as I work in a manual labor field.

And no chance of an STD as I haven’t been sexually active.

Why aren’t more men pushing for a male birth control pill?

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

Do you think that it is because of a culture which thinks that it is the woman’s responsibility to avoid unwanted pregnancy?
Seems to me that a male birth control pill will put men in the driver’s seat. Lot less paternity suits. If a guy is sure he does not want kids, he can take his pill and not have to worry about some female getting knocked up and having to pay child support when he did not want any of that in the first place. I think that this something that guys should want. What do you think?
