Hi i want to get pregnant with my husband. However i am embarrassed to tell him a secret about me. When I was 15 i had my left tube tied because it was malformed (birth defect) and the actual fallopian tube was removed. the doctor was a fertility specialist and said i can still have kids with my right one. But i have been testing my ovulation and i dont seem to ovulate. But sometimes when my man comes inside of me i feel tender and sexy the next day and i wonder if his “stuff” can make hormones release an egg and fertilize it? Is this possible? otherwise i understand that i can get treatment but i am just embarrassed about the whole thing.

I have been trying to get pregnant with my babe for about 6 mos without the help of fertility drugs or anything like that. I’ve been to the doctor, i do have irregular cycles but I am taking birth control to fix it and ill be off soon but i just would like to know if his sperm being thin could have something to do with it as well… can someone help me out?

My fiance and I want to have a baby as soon as we get married. He knows at one time he was fertile b/c he got a girl pregnant when he was a teenager. For years though, as a teenager and into his early adulthood, he did every drug out there….at least any I’ve ever heard of. He was a serious abuser. He’s clean now and got his life straightened out, but he’s worried that all the drug use would have made him infertile.
Come on now! No need to be rude about his past habits. I know, and I’m sure he knows, that what he was doing was dumb. No need to reiterate. That’s why it’s PAST drug use and not current.
