I had some male pain and went to the dr. after several tests and being sent to the urologist. I researched all the tests and issues relating to men. I learned i was cut up needlessly and EXTREMELY pissed off about it. The rage of it boils my blood. I have been very depressed about it and its taking over my life (this on top of the origional male pain ) Was told by the Urologist, that i need corrective surgery that would possibly make me sterile. So he ordered fertility tests and to return in 2 months !!!!!! I cant wait another 2 months! this hurts NOW … no chance of another doctor as the health insurance covers only one practice.

The questions i have is when the rage will end. and what can i do about the doctor putting off the follow up for so long when the results of the tests take less than 24 hours.
The only testing ordered by the urologist is a semen analysis, it takes less than 24 hours for it to result. not 6 weeks or even a week lol. The Testicular Ultrasound, (my primary doctor ordered it) took 1 week to get the Urgent appt (took em that long to find a MALE Ultrasound Tech to do the test) and it resulted in less than 48 hours. There is no need for 2 months. Think about this, I wait till the end of September 09, to be scheduled for surgery knowing how slow this office is I will be booked in november or december where i can NOT take off 2-3 weeks for a surgery (there is NO way I will go back to work in less than 2 weeks, when Im getting surgery on BOTH boys and my job involves alot of required running and FAST paced walking. (no room for light duty or no walking/running duty)

I am an 18 year old male heterosexual and my libido has never been so low! I’ve been using Prozac for almost three months now. (my doctor suggested it for depression) I think it has a bad side effect on me. Sex doesn’t give me much pleasure anymore and it makes it much harder for me to reach orgasm, when I do reach orgasm, it doesn’t as good as it used to and lasts shorter.

I also used to like kissing a lot, but now making out with my girlfriend doesn’t feel much better than making out with a piece of steak… This sucks!

What should I do? Stop using Prozac and go back to my normal sexual life or live on as a near-frigid person…

My father in law has had prostate cancer for 7 years and it has moved to the spine. He now has 12 tumors in the spine and it has spread to the lymph nodes. His psa was 60 last month and today it was 84. How bad is this and how long is the life expectancy after the cancer is in the lymph nodes?
Chemotherapy is no longer working (hasn’t worked for months) and all other treatments have failed. Now he is going to be given just pain meds. He is 74 and he has diabetes.
Its in the lower lymph nodes only right now.
