I have a friend who doesn’t have health insurance and I feel it is important for him to get tested for STDs. Are there organizations and publicly funded clinics that offer STD testing to people who cant afford testing fees or don’t have insurance?

why are liberal woman always yapping about no insurance for birth control but insurance for viagra?

Friday, October 29th, 2010

these broads never stop. their always going on and on about how unfair there insurance policy is, it doesn’t cover the pill but it covers viagra, it is sexist why do the men get theres covered but we dont. take a minute to analize this libs, birth control controls births meaning that babies don’t get born whereas viagra helps a person to make babies. one is a death drug and the other is a life giver. now i know that libs worship there little death cult called abortion and hate babies unless their gay babies or multicultural babies but think about it wouldn’t it make more sense to have a drug that helps give life rather than one that makes it not start. next time you bring this up do a little research since your supposed to be so much smarter then us.
sure i talk about birth control being wrong and i get flamed but if a heart throb like Mel Gibson talks against it your all over him. i love the hypocrasy. read the newspaper Mel says birth control is wrong but woman just throw themselves at t his guy but when i do it i am a jerk i guess it pays to be a movie star and a millionare.

Does insurance cover this procedure?

Saturday, September 11th, 2010

Fertility treatments are generally not covered and most gynological problems are shoved into that category so you have to pay everything out of pocket (unlike men who have prostate issues and everything else covered).

Anyway, I have a tumor on my uterus, has been gradually growing over the years so the side effects are becoming unbearable. Yes, one of the side-effects is that it has made me unable to have children so because that would get corrected after removing it, I fear insurance would consider it a fertility issue and not cover it. I have unbearable pain, bleeding and there’s a 1% chance it could turn cancerous. So far, no luck finding an insurance to cover it. Any advice?

anthem health insurance?

Monday, September 6th, 2010

I have health insurance through my employer. (Anthem Keycare 30). Starting from this year, the insurance will offer a free annual physical checkup and gynecological exam (for guys, free prostate check). I want to take advantage of those two free checkups. However, I have never been to the hospital/clinic the four years I am in the States. Could anyone tell me where I should go for the checkups and how do I make sure it is really free and there’s no extra charge. Will the nurse/doctor tell you if something is not covered and you have to pay?

By the way, I am in winchester, va.

Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. While I was in China last year, I found that I had a benign ovarian cyst about 4cm big. If it doesn’t get bigger, then I don’t need to worry about it, according to the doctor. If it grows, then I have to get rid of it. Will the general gynecological checkup check my ovarian cyst to see if it grows?

Is Ovarian Cancer to a woman as Prostate Cancer is to a man? If so, R insurance co guilty of discrimination?

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

I’ve been told that Ovarian Cancer is to a woman as Prostate Cancer is to a man. If that is true, then I think that my health insurance company is guilty of discrimination. But I am not an authority that can make that judgement. I am wondering if it would be worth my time to start a lawsuit against any big health insurance company for this issue. I do not have the money for something like that and would need a really good attorney that would be willing to do this for free. Any suggestions? (PS. I’ve been having pains in the lower groin area and no doctor that I’ve been to has said anything about O.C. except one that said the test is not covered. I think it is the CA-125 test.)

Health insurance question about coverage?

Sunday, April 18th, 2010

OK my dad has been diagnosed with an early stage of prostate cancer. He is 57 and retired from the police department and has to provide his own health insurance. He does not have cancer coverage. A friend said he may be able to buy coverage from his current company even though he has a pre-existing condition since he is already insured with them. Is this true? Do companies really do this? Doesn’t seem logical to me at this stage.
