The pain has been present on and off since mid November 2010 (2 months). In terms of frequency, it usually bothers me 2-3 times a week for 3-6 hours. The pain is located at the very bottom of my abdomen on my left side, right above my hip bone. It is relatively sharp and the pain is always around a line. I think it may be related to my colon, but I am not sure. I sometimes get bad gas accompanying the pain, but not always. When this happens, the pain seems to subside after I pass the gas. I haven’t noticed any other correlations. The pain is seemingly getting worse, from around a 2 in November to a 4 today on a scale of 1-10. It does not get worse when I press down on the area, nor can I induce the pain by pressing.
I have seen the (same) doctor twice now and had the following tests done, which have all turned out NORMAL:
-External examination (pressing)
-Rectal/prostate exam, followed by card-based fecal blood test
-Complete urine analysis (to rule out kidney stones)
-CBC (complete blood count)
-”Comprehensive Metabolic Panel”
I am a 21-year-old male and in good health otherwise. I have had mild Vitiligo for the past two years, and chronic sinus problems throughout my life. When I was 11 we moved out of my house because of black stachybotrys mold, which I was exposed to for a while.
I am getting worried because the pain is getting worse. It is also getting to the point where it is pretty annoying when it happens. I’d like to know A) which diseases/conditions I could have and their likelihoods (if possible) and B) which diseases/conditions I am 100% sure not to have. Thanks!
