I’m a 14 year old male (almost 15 though), and I’ve been taking Saw Palmetto extract.

Saw Palmetto inhibits testosterone action on the prostate, thus is used widely for BPH treatment. Saw Palmetto is also used to treat bladder inflammation, chronic bronchitis, among other conditions. The fatty acids in Saw Palmetto are thought to have testosterone inhibiting effects on the prostate. Saw Palmetto also prevents testosterone from converting into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes prostate cells to multiply, and also leads to male balding.

Now, I’m not exactly stupid, but I’m not sure exactly what this means. I’m 14 and in puberty and not sure if I would need all this. The only thing that worries me is that one of the effects is that it inhibits the effects of testosterone on the prostate. Does this mean it will effect the size of my package, and my fertility rate?

I’m a 19 year old male, and I’m athletic and keep a good watch on my health, the only issue I’ve had most of my life is a stuttering problem, so I’m going back on Paxil. This seems to help my anxiety which helps me to avoid stuttering in most situations. I never noticed anything when I was on it before, but I’m hearing comments online such as losing your sex drive, difficulty maintaining an erection. I’m no longer in a relationship as of three weeks ago, but I’m really not interested in this if all this is true. Too bad I just filled a prescription. Any thought, ideas or comments.?

First off sorry for such a long question. Im a 21 year old male who is socially retarded meaning I speak incoherently aka expressive language disorder and I was wondering what are possible repercussions from being castrated? I lift weights and worry I wouldnt be able to build muscle with out the testosterone, thats the only thing I worry about. I was obese from middle school to highschool most I weighed was 300lbs and lost it all my senior year so my body is wrecked I dont have any lose skin but you get the picture of the aftermath so I have extreme insecurity issues and I could never enjoy sex or enjoy making love to a woman because of it i would be focusing on it be to embarrassed to do it and since I am socially disabled a relationship wouldnt last i’ve read in a book titled sex and the female brain and it stated that talking is as pleasureable if not more than sex so I have no use for the sex drive and I feel it would free me and would be a great joy to not have one because of my issues. So is there any harm to being castrated or having my sex drive taken away? Could I still lift weights and build muscle? any advice will be greatly appreciated.
