When the FDA or whatever authority says some additive or drug is “OK,” is it based on “Acceptable Toxicity”?
Friday, April 1st, 2011It just occurred to me this morning, seeing someone made my co-workers and me a present of some tinned tomato puree- some of which was surely expired, because the tin was bulging, it occured to me to think about how tinned food is not good for Human consumption, or any creature’s consumption.
I cognited that when these so-called “Health Authorities” say that tin (an element used to coat steel cans), aluminium (another element that gets into the body from pots, pans, cutlery, etc.), mercury (a toxic element used in old tooth-fillings amalgams) and diverse chemicals that come from God knows where, saccharin, aspartame, monosdium glutamate, and so on are “harmless,” and “tolerable,” is this assessment not based on the idea that IT IS “HARMLESS,” and IT IS “HARMLESS” and “TOLERABLE” for SAY, 1 in 5 men to come down with prostate cancer, and for a high proportion of the public to be SICK and ILL, and REQUIRE MEDICATION at any given time- swelling the coffers of medicine & pharmacology?
