my husband has bleeding caused by prostate problems. he has been told by hospital that his prostate is enlarged and he needs a cystoscopy. But he also has what seems to be a large tumor on his upper thigh (painless) and last year he had skin cancer removed on his face, now has a lump above his eyebrow. What would be the best type of doctor to see for all of these problems as we do not have health insurance? Thank You

I’m an otherwise healthy adult male in my 20s (I know I don’t have diabetes, prostate problems, etc.) but still occasionally wet my bed at night. When I was a child and teen I went to many docs for this, never really got much help… the most I was ever told was that my bladder was probably small for my age (gee, thanks!) and my body was just slow to develop and I’d “grow out of it”, which obviously didn’t totally happen… so I’m thinking about going back in to see if there’s anything that can be done now that wasn’t before, and I’ll soon have the health insurance to make this a reasonable thing to do.

My question is, what kind of specialist to see? Is it more likely a bladder problem, or a sleep problem? I think it could still be my bladder because I still have to go most every night and also can’t hold a lot during the day… but I also wonder if sleeping too hard could be the problem, since I normally do wake up most nights when I need to go (just not always). Any thoughts?

So I took my girlfriend to the emergency room yeterday because she was nausous, lightheaded, uneasiness. The doctor did a series of test including chest xray, mouth swab and urine test, they found out she had Urinary tract infection. With all these test would they have found an STD if she had one? Are we in the clear?

STD clinics insist on using the painful swab of the urethra in males, but I have heard that doctors can take a urine sample instead, due to better modern technology. I want to know if this is true, and what kind of dr. can do full testing for all or MOST STDs.

Worried? The Dr. Said the medicine he has been taking is the best for him,but, it appears his body has gotten ammune to it and its not doing what it should anymore.
