Ok maybe Im not the guy to be asking this, but I am somewhat paranoid about my health and would like to know WHAT cancers MEN should be looking out for, and WHEN I should start?—prostate is the one that gets the most coverage……usually colon I think after that.

Just let me know WHAT cancers and WHEN to search for them.

Males in my family do not have any history of cancer, although both of my grandmothers died from breast cancer…….the men in my family tend to have higher blood pressure and heart problems.

At my school everyone always wears pink and stuff for breast cancer but no one cares about prostate cancer or other cancers. Is it cause men are less important than females.

I’m interested in obtaining information on the best doctor’s in America who deal with the surgical removal of prostate cancer. Mainly, who or where to find the top doctor’s in the field or which doctors have the highest sucess rate in treating prostate cancer.

I’m trying to do a report of a biology class about prostate cancer. I have been able to find information comparing different races and the stats of prostate cancer among them. I have not been about to find any information about prostate cancer in gays vs straight men. I would think that for gay it is less, because they are stimulating their prostate more, but I’m not really sure. I’m totally in the dark about this one. Question is: do gay men get prostate cancer less than straight men?

Hi im a 14 year old girl who is extremely afraid of one day getting cancer. I know i have an anxiety problem and I have had these problems since I was little. Im a normal weight for my height and age and ive never had any health problems. I also exercise and play sports. I try to eat a good diet but im a kid so I do enjoy eating junk food sometimes. No one in my family on both sides has ever had any medical problems except my great grandmother who died at 62 of emphysema from smoking but i never met her and My great uncle who had prostate cancer but caught it early and beat it and had surgery and hes been fine for over 5 years now. So besides those 2 my family is generally healthy. In fact my great grandfather lived to be 92 and my great grandmother on my fathers-mothers side lived to be 90 something also. My great grand mother on my mother’s-mother’s side is turning 85 this year and has no medical problems except mild alzheimer’s. My grandparents are fine on both sides and my parents don’t have any medical problems except the fact my father smokes. I know cancer can happen to anyone but what are the chances of me getting it when I’m older?

so what do you think of that? As I said I only found out today and get this he got channel 9 to film him having the operation to make awearness to others out there. So come on Aussies and my fellow Aussies only, how did you react to that when you heard it?
