I have Endometriosis so I take birth control to stop my menstrual cycle. My disease causes severe pain and the pain is eliminated when I am on continuous birth control.
The bc I got from my doctor costs me $70 per month. I am going to Planned Parenthood bc their birth control only costs $22 per month.
Today I called and made an appointment to come in and get birth control. I asked if I would be eligible for low cost bc, and they said I need to fill out a medicaid form that would take several weeks to process. They said “We will give you some condoms until the form goes through.”
