Do I have an issue with my sex drive, or is this a product of being sick?

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

I am a 22 y/o male. My wife and I (as of yesterday at 3pm) had sex for the first time last night. As a quick background we were both virgins up until that point. I have always been told that my first time would be extremely quick, however, to my surprise I actually outlasted my wife and went for approx. 6 minutes. At first this excited me, but it soon turned bad. 2 out of the first 5 times we tried we ended up giving up due me not being able to orgasm (but she did every time!).

I do currently had a nasty cold and am taking Ibuprofen (sorry for spelling), sudafed, and zicam. I also was quite tired from a VERY long and stressful wedding day and am still recovering today. I know with absolute certainty that attraction is not an issue, so we can rule that out. I also have no medical issues such as diabetes, low blood pressure, etc. I am quite physically fit. I am concerned at this point, but fortunately I have an extremely understanding and loving spouse. I also don’t believe being nervous is an issue, unless it is a subconscious thing because I have up until this point felt quite confident.

Is there something wrong with me that I should consult a doctor about, or is this something that is related to my cold?

Is there any proven facts of Green Tea being good for you?

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

The FDA doesn’t think so:

On June 30, 2005, in response to “Green Tea and Reduced Risk of Cancer Health Claim”, they stated: “FDA concludes that there is no credible evidence to support qualified health claims for green tea consumption and a reduced risk of gastric, lung, colon/rectal, esophageal, pancreatic, ovarian, and combined cancers. Thus, FDA is denying these claims. However, FDA concludes that there is very limited credible evidence for qualified health claims specifically for green tea and breast cancer and for green tea and prostate cancer, provided that the qualified claims are appropriately worded so as to not mislead consumers.” [11]

On May 9, 2006, in response to “Green Tea and Reduced Risk of Cardiovascular Disease”, they concluded “there is no credible evidence to support qualified health claims for green tea or green tea extract and a reduction of a number of risk factors associated with CVD
