My girlfriend went in last week (Tuesday) for an std test.. and she got a phone call 2 days later(Thursday) that she is “clean” and apparently she told me that two days after that (Saturday) she got the paper results in the mail. Is this believable ?? I heard that std test can take 1-2 weeks to get results from. But can it be sooner?????

I’m an 18 year old male. I pulled my back twice this summer in the weight room, foolishly. It is taking a long time to heal and hurts whenever I sit on a normal chair or do any physical activity. Fortunately, the problem is only muscular- no pulled disc or anything. However, the chronic pain is significantly lowering my sex drive to like a 1.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. I feel like I should not stop masturbating, though, because it is important for your body to do it at least once and a while. However, whenever I do masturbate my back pain becomes worse after. Like, I’ll start to feel like my sex drive is improving and then I’ll masturbate and I’m back where I started. Would it be OK to stop masturbating entirely for like 2-3 months to allow myself time to heal entirely? Would my body suffer in any way by such abstaining? Is it possible that masturbation is actually NOT linked to the prolongation of my back pain? What do you think? I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I am a 25 year old male and just recently I seemed to have an extremely lowered sex drive.

The change didn’t seem to drastically happen overnight, but has been worse lately.

I do not know if it is because of stress and the fact that I got a lot on my plate right now, or if it is something that is medically wrong with me?
Info about me: Male, married for almost 2 years, in pretty good health

I don’t think I am depressed I am just wondering if it is stress or something that comes naturally as you get older.

We had been trying for a baby when we found out my husband had hogdkin’s lymphoma. He was only able to bank sperm once and the count was already low due to the cancer. He’s been through all of the chemo, there’s no trace of the cancer at this time and he’s feeling better.

We have been told that he could remain sterile, or that it could take years to come back. We’ve read all the information on all of the websites and talked to doctors…. I guess I’m trying to say, I’m looking for responses from men who have been through this or people who know men who have been through this.

Did your fertility come back after chemo? How long did it take to come back? And were you able to conceive a baby, if so, how long after ending treatment?

In other words, they removed his prostate and now it spread to his bones. Why isn’t it called bone cancer instead of prostate cancer? Can anyone give me some details on this cancer he has? Thanks! And God Bless!

My boyfriend thinks he may have a UTI and is going to the doctor on Monday for testing, if it turns out it isn’t a UTI and they do STD testing how long will we have to wait for the results?
