Prozac usage has ruined my sex life, please help?
I am an 18 year old male heterosexual and my libido has never been so low! I’ve been using Prozac for almost three months now. (my doctor suggested it for depression) I think it has a bad side effect on me. Sex doesn’t give me much pleasure anymore and it makes it much harder for me to reach orgasm, when I do reach orgasm, it doesn’t as good as it used to and lasts shorter.
I also used to like kissing a lot, but now making out with my girlfriend doesn’t feel much better than making out with a piece of steak… This sucks!
What should I do? Stop using Prozac and go back to my normal sexual life or live on as a near-frigid person…
In the first paragraph I meant: “doesn’t feel as good as it used to”

Stop the Prozac. Ask you Dr for wellbutrin. It does not effect your sex drive. It actually helps it.

You could try viagra but I will tell ya what, that stuff sucks. The side effects are terrible. Have you ever tried a sexual enhancer? I was in your situation, like I said, viagra was tried but it wasn’t for me considering the side effects overwhelm the pleasures of it. I found this natural herbal enhancer and figured what the heck, if it’s natural it must be great and plus it said no side effects. I tried it and after about two days of taking it I was just horny like a mad man. All the time, I have erections that want to stand straight up and the orgasms are to die for. The stuff was called vigrx plus and I saved on it at the time at hughs-reviews.com , You should check it out. I love the fact it’s made from a researched blend of herbs that seem to do the trick for me atleast.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

If prozac, the antidepressant, is giving you this side effect, ask your doctor for a replacement.
Usually people can use a combination of medications at lower dosages to fend off things like depression.
You could even ask you’re doctor if its alright to lower your dosages.
