Odd Question Concerning Men’s Health…?
My roommate and I were having a discussion about the man who is suing his doctor for removing his penis without consent. A question came up that I didn’t know the answer to. The question was… “I know what castration does to a man, but if a man were to have his penis removed, voluntarily or not, would he have to live his life out not being able to satisfy sexual needs?” Um, I really don’t even know where to begin trying to find out about this. Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me? Lots of thanks in advance!!

Are you sure that it was removing the entire penis, or just the foreskin?
Circumcision is male genital mutilation and damages the penis and sexual sensitivity as well as sexual function, and more guys are beginning to realize that a whole penis feels and functions much better than a partial, scarred and mutilated one.
Removing any part of the penis damages sexual function, and should be prohibited in minors, just as female genital mutilation of minors is.

I dont think there should end up being a problem with anything. I mean the tip of the penis is the most sensitive part, but it is possible to ejaculate without touching the tip. If he literally had NO penis – like it was flat, but then testicles, then i dont see how he could, but i reckon he might – maybe. But if he had a stub of a few centimetres, then yeah sure, i cant see why not. the ejaculation is not created in the penis – it’s only a way of travelling.

Well, he certainly can’t have sexual intercourse without anything to use to do it. But if his testicles and other sexual organs (prostate, etc) are still intact and functional, he probably could still get sexually stimulated, and even achieve ejaculation and climax.

Yes, At that point he would have to go through life without ever again being sexually satisfied.
