I have been going on for 6 days. And I am always fooling myself that I am going to give up anytime.

A virgin at 23? Not a big deal. Your monster is like any other muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it will be. If you don’t have a girl to help you out, nothing wrong with giving willie a workout.
The only concern would be if you establish such a pattern that you don’t ever even try and get with a girl. They really aren’t that mysterious.
