Is there a concern for prostate cancer with this?

If his PSA number doubles from 2 to 4 in one year, but up to 4 is considered in the normal range and above it is only 25% chance of cancer, is that still a cause to worry? He’s in his 60s so I’m assuming those numbers are ok?

    When my PSA was 4.3 I found out that I had cancer of the prostate. I was 62 at the time. That was 12 years ago. I had other tests where they took biopsies and found out that I had it. I had cryosurgery to get rid of it.
