How would you know if your husband has erectile dysfunction?
He claims he has it but I wanted to know what medical tests could be done to find out the truth. Can diabetes be a reason for such disability?

Diabetes is a reason for ED. but here is a simple test.
You need a strip of ten gummed stamps.
Before he goes to bed lick the stamps and wind them around his penis
Check the next morning. If the stamps have torn, he can get an erection.

well dear, if you do everything you can and he can,t get it up then he might have ED or it could be a blockage, stress or even medication can cause it. you know he can take viagra even if he does have diabetes. if he,s aware that he has something wrong then you and him talk to his dr. about it. i,am on medication. i take blood pressure pills and heart pills. my dr. gave me viagra and it helped me.

certainly diabetes and hypertension are 2 main reasons for it. needs to see his doctor for testing. but as his wife you should know if he has trouble getting or maintaining his erections
