Lack of sex can possibly impact a person’s self-esteem, and lead to mental stress or depression. A person without emotional support may also slip into unhealthy lifestyle patterns, or self-destructive and reckless behavior, which can lead to physical problems over time.
So yes, the frustration part CAN be harmful if one allows it to be. As long as a person remains of sound mind and healthy body, even sexual frustration can be put into perspective and overcome.
