My boyfriend and I had been trying to get pregnant for a year when I found out I had mild endometriosis. On top of that I have always had heavy and somewhat irregular periods. In oct 08 I had a laparoscopy to remove the endo and scar tissue from a previous vaginal infection. it’s been a year since then w/no results. my pain is starting to come back and it’s so depressing! I can’t really afford insurance so $500/mnth shots for endo are out of the question. besides birth control there isn’t anything my ob-gyn suggested for it besides killing the pain with oxycodone…all it does is make me have nightmares lol. I will go through all the pain in the world to achieve pregnancy with the man I love. He has been tested for fertility a year ago and he gotta thumbs up. I’ve been looking into herbs such as chasteberry, red clover blossoms, epo, flaxseed oil and false unicorn root. does anyone know if these truly work to relieve endometriosis and increase fertility in men/women? are there percentages anywhere to show it? I like the idea of using something natural instead of medication or shots or whatever u know.
i was told that my chances of conceiving aren’t very good. yes my bf and i will definitely get married in the near future. we know getting married will happen but we can’t say the same about starting a family. which is why we’re choosing to try now
